Corina is a bright and hard-working student who is driven to succeed. Despite her family’s difficult economic situation and the absence of her father, she is determined to give back to hercommunity. “I want to help my family and those who are marginalized by poverty,” she wrote in her application to Few for Change. Corina’s favorite subject is computer science and she dreams of being a teacher when she grows up. She also realizes the importance of being agood role model for those around her, especially the children in her community. “My dream is to set an example for the children, so that they can have better educations themselves.” This is Corina’s second year as a Few for Change scholar. She was one of our three original students.
